Decorative concrete specialists Lazenby are at the top of their industry, installing everything from polished concrete floors and stairs inside commercial buildings to bespoke garden patios and kitchen surfaces in award-winning residential spaces.

When they approached us, they were struggling to leverage this breadth of expertise and stunning projects on their social media channels, and close competitors had a much stronger presence. Having created one-off videos with the team before, the Sales Manager invited us to take over their channels and strategy.

After a series of discussions to understand their goals and establish the right strategy, we set about the core task of lead generation using social media as the initial customer touchpoint. Our plan was to steadily build their online audience, cultivate a high-end brand perception and build credibility.

A retainer of 10 days a month was allocated across the full gamut of responsibilities: strategy, planning and reporting, copywriting, deployment (scheduling and uploading posts), social monitoring and community engagement, and of course content production. This mainly revolved around posts and blogs, promotional materials and videos showing case studies, client testimonials and ‘behind the scenes’ process insights.

All strategy and creative was signed off before deployment and quarterly and annual performance reports made it easy for everyone to track progress and map changes in traffic and enquiries. Action items were generated following each report meeting to agree updates to the short- and long-term approach. The impact on their social media profile and the leads and conversions generated has led to a massive upswing in engagement.
