Ian is a versatile film-maker who straddles the opposing worlds of documentary and TV advertising.
In the former, he writes, directs and frequently self shoots presenter-led and contributor-filled shows about travel, adventure, food, art and architecture.
In the latter, he directs drama-based and comic TV commercials for big companies like Cadbury, BT, Dove and Kellogg’s.
He has been a finalist at the Cannes Lion Advertising Awards for best New Director, and a runner up in the Best UK Short category at the Raindance Film Festival for his short 35mm drama, “Imbroglio”.
